Our Story

When we founded the company in 2022, rather than have a crazy idea, and then try and convince people they have the problem, we went on a listening tour.

People told us that they couldn't perform critical tasks or determine what to work on now, next, or never, because they didn't have the visibility they needed.

Solving this dilemma has become the north star for the company.

We pulled together a team of computer scientists and software engineers from across the USA and Europe to develop an open source project called Chalk, and a cloud native platform.

Crash Override is platform that understands how you build and operate cloud-native applications. It is the first platform to expose hidden data across the software development lifecycle, connecting the dots between people, code, builds and production.

In the short time it has been available it has become a superpower for platform and security engineers.
