Route Table
Route Table
Definition
A route table is a set of rules (routes) that determine where network traffic is directed within a VPC. Each subnet is associated with one route table that defines how traffic destined for specific CIDR ranges should be forwarded — to an internet gateway, NAT gateway, VPC peering connection, or local network.
Proper route table configuration is fundamental to VPC network design.
